Herefordshire LINk have been getting out to the Market Towns to find out what people think about local health and social care provision.
The final roadshow for Summer 2009 took place on 22nd September 2009 in Bromyard.

The LINk have found that alot of people are more than happy with the care and services that they have received, but a few issues have been raised and passed onto the appropriate working sub groups for resolution.
Most of the issues raised have been resolved by LINk representatives informing the patient of what to do next or passing on the correct point of contact.
Other people have indicated that certain services are lacking in certain areas or for certain age groups - such as respite care. The Social Care Sub Group are now looking into what services are available and will be carrying out a gap analysis to establish where services are lacking. The findings will then be forwarded to the appropriate Trust and Local Authority in order to work together to try and improve services.
